The deal, in plain terms.

Intek Solutions, a small operation that designs, prints, solders, and tests the X3 LightCharge by hand. Reaching us about anything in these terms: [email protected].

Physical orders are sold as pre-orders in numbered batches. You pay when you order, your slot in the queue is reserved at that moment, and units are built in the order they came in. A batch is capped, so when it fills, ordering closes and the waitlist opens instead.

Any ship date you see is an estimate based on how the queue is moving, not a promise. Everything is made by one person, so illness, a bad batch of components, or a supplier going quiet moves the estimate. If your order is going to be materially later than what you were quoted, we will email you rather than let you wonder.

Prices are in US dollars. Payment is taken at checkout by Stripe; we never handle your card details. Shipping and any sales tax are calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.

We may change prices at any time, but never for an order that has already been placed. What you were charged is what you agreed to.

You may cancel a physical order for a full refund within 14 days of placing it, provided we have not yet started building it. Because builds happen in queue order, “not yet started” is usually true for a good while — just ask.

Once your unit is being built, we can still cancel it, but a reasonable deduction may apply for parts already committed to your order. Once it has shipped, the returns clause below applies instead.

Return an unused unit in its original condition within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price. Return shipping is yours unless the unit was faulty or we sent the wrong thing, in which case it is ours.

Every unit carries a 90-day warranty against defects in our workmanship — a bad solder joint, a dead cell, a switch that fails. Tell us and we will repair it, replace it, or refund it.

• Not covered — Damage from dropping it, opening it, modifying it, water, or charging it from something that should not be charging it.
• Also not covered — Anything you soldered yourself. Kits are sold as kits — see below.
• Never covered — Damage to your XTEINK X3 or any other device. See the liability clause.

Kits and digital files are sold to people who intend to build something. Soldering irons burn, lithium cells are unforgiving of mistakes, and a miswired charge circuit can damage the device it is plugged into. You take that on when you buy a kit, and you are responsible for working safely and for the result.

The digital files are licensed to you personally. Print as many copies as you like for yourself, modify them, and take them apart to see how they work. You may not redistribute the files, publish them, or sell them or parts printed from them commercially.

Digital files are delivered immediately on payment, so a digital order cannot be refunded once the download link has been used. If a file is broken or will not open, that is a fault and we will fix it or refund you.

These products contain a lithium-polymer cell. Do not puncture, crush, short, submerge, incinerate, or charge an obviously swollen or damaged cell, and do not leave one charging unattended on a flammable surface. Dispose of cells at a proper recycling point, not in household waste.

Cells are subject to shipping restrictions, which means some destinations and some carrier services are unavailable to us. If we cannot legally ship to you, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Risk passes to you on delivery. If a package arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, tell us and we will sort it out with the carrier.

International orders may attract import duties and taxes on arrival. Those are set by your country, are not included in what you paid us, and are yours to settle.

Joining the waitlist is not an order. Nothing is charged, nothing is reserved, and it does not guarantee you a slot in the next batch. It is a list of people to email first when ordering reopens, and you can be removed from it at any time by asking.

The X3 LightCharge is an independent accessory designed to fit the XTEINK X3. Intek Solutions is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by XTEINK, and XTEINK is a trademark of its respective owner. Fitting a third-party accessory may affect the warranty on your reader — that is between you and its manufacturer.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including any statutory rights you have as a consumer, which these terms sit alongside rather than replace.

Beyond that, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to what you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

What we collect and who it goes to is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Intek Solutions is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the date below tells you when this version came into effect.
